Welcome to Health Wonders! Let me introduce myself. My name is Amy and I am 23 years old. I have 3 years of experience in the medical field. Im a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, and patients homes. I love the work that it involves. My huge passion is to help people the best I can. I have a lot of knowledge and I'm ready to continue my education in the health career.

What is a CNA and what do they do? A CNA is a Certified Nursing Assistant, meaning we are certified through the state. What do we do? We do all sorts of stuff. Here is a list of stuff we do: 1.) Vital Signs ( blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature, and height/weight). 2.) Help change, bathe, feed, and ambulate patients. 3.) We help with wound care ( changing dressings, help clean the wound). 4.) We have the ability to help the patient take his/her medication ONLY under supervision of a NURSE or DOCTOR. 5.) We always take notes on the patients health, as far as any changes that have occured. 6.) We help with small procedures, an example would be (catheterization). 7.) We are able to do CPR, if needed. 8.) If working in a hospital or doctors office, we can do EKG's.
